The channel is widely available in the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Turkey, Republic of Ireland, France, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Romania, Israel, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Iceland, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy.
MTV Hits began broadcasting in widescreen on 28 March 2012.
In 2014, MTV Hits, as well as MTV Rocks and MTV Dance started broadcasting European versions, without commercials or teleshopping.
