The Peugeot 5008 is a compact MPV unveiled by French automaker Peugeot in June 2009 and has been on sale since November 2009. Five- and seven-seat versions are currently available. Its engine range mimics the Peugeot 308.
The 5008 shares underskin structure and mechanical components with the first generation Citroën C4 Grand Picasso.
The 5008 was awarded 2010 MPV of the Year by What Car? magazine.
The 5008 is available in North Africa, South America, Australia and Europe (excluding Ukraine and Russia). It is also available in 11 countries in Asia and the Middle East: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia.
The second generation 5008 will go on sale in 2016.
