National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba (Spanish: Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Cuba) is Cuba's National Symphony Orchestra founded in October 1959.
On November 11, 1960, the national symphony orchestra conducted in its first public performance with a concert in the Teatro Auditórium de La Habana of that time, now the Teatro Amadeo Roldán. Between national performances and abroad to countries such as Russia, Poland, Yugoslavia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Spain, Peru, Argentina, Martinique and Guadeloupe. The orchestra also takes part in record productions and events in Cuba, such as the international festivals of Guitar, the festival of Contemporary Music, of the New Cine Latinoamericano, and the international festival of ballet of Havana.
In the 2000s, pianist Jorge Luis Prats was the artistic director of the orchestra.
