Into a Secret Land is the third studio album from German singer Sandra, released in 1988.
This album was produced by Michael Cretu. It reached #14 in Germany, #18 in Norway, #22 in Sweden, #13 in Austria and #9 in Switzerland.
Five singles were released from this album which became successful in many countries. The first single, "Heaven Can Wait", was a top ten smash hit in France and made it to #12 in Germany, being accompanied by a music video featuring Sandra dancing and singing on a Mediterranean beach. The next single, the title track "Secret Land", a cover version of the track "Trenchcoat Man" by the short-lived German synthpop project Fabrique (who were produced by Hubert Kemmler), entered the German Top 10 and went on all the way to number one in Lebanon and Israel. The third single released, "We'll Be Together", was another German Top 10 hit, while the fourth single, "Around My Heart", peaked at number 11. The album's fifth and final single, "La Vista de Luna", was released only as a promotional single in Spain. (It was later re-released as the B-side of the song "Hiroshima".)
