The Swedish Evangelical Mission (SEM) (Swedish: Evangeliska Fosterlands-Stiftelsen "Evangelical Homeland Foundation", EFS) is an independent organization within the Church of Sweden. Established on 7 May 1856, it cooperates with independent churches, Christian councils and other partners in Eritrea, Ethiopia, India, Malawi, the Sudan and Tanzania. The focus is on education, relationships and to communicate the gospel.
