Imagina (In English: Imagine Radio) is a Chilean radio station located at 88.1 MHz of the FM dial in Santiago de Chile, successor of the extinct Radio Aurora. It also transmits to the whole country with its network of repeaters, by channel 653 (with D-Box) of the cable operator VTR and via internet in the rest of the country and the world.
Imagina was born on October 9, 2002, maintaining practically intact the musical tendency that was imposed in that frequency since the 80s. The radio continued in its segment focused on the woman with romantic ballads, but this time extending it to "professional" women.
His institutional voice is that of Marcelo González Liapiz and his voices of continuity are those of Jaime Muñoz Villarroel, Edith de La Rosa, Katty Kowaleczko, Daniel Maldonado Amaro and Marcela Medel. For this radio transmit other voices passed like Elio Ingala and Edmundo Eguiluz.
Imagine inherited from its predecessor Aurora, its frequencies from Arica to Punta Arenas. However, following the merger of Ibero Americana Radio Chile with CRC, some of its frequencies change and others are shared with other broadcasters in the group. In 2007 it merges with Bésame Radio, romantic station of CRC, which caused what previously said.
