Almario Vernard "Mario" Chalmers (born May 19, 1986) is an American professional basketball player who is a free agent. He last played for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected with the 34th overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves after playing three seasons of college basketball for the University of Kansas, including being a part of the 2007–08 national championship team. As a collegiate, Chalmers was named the 2006–07 Co-Defensive Player of the Year and the Most Outstanding Player of the 2008 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament.

Chalmers attended Bartlett High School in Anchorage, Alaska where he was named the 4A State Player of the Year three times in a row, joining Trajan Langdon as the only other player to do so. Chalmers also led his school to two state championships in 2002 and 2003, and a runner-up finish in 2004. As a senior in 2004–05, he was named a McDonald's All-American as well as a third-team Parade All-American.

Considered a five-star recruit by Rivals.com, Chalmers was listed as the No. 2 point guard and the No. 12 player in the nation in 2005.

Chalmers considered Arizona, North Carolina, Wake Forest and Georgia Tech before finally committing to the University of Kansas on May 21, 2004.

Tyson Cleotis Chandler (born October 2, 1982) is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Chandler was the second overall pick of the 2001 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Clippers, then was immediately traded to the Chicago Bulls. He has also played for the New Orleans Hornets, Charlotte Bobcats, and New York Knicks. As starting center for Dallas, he played an integral role in the franchise's first NBA championship in 2011. He was also a member of the United States men's national basketball team's gold medal runs in the 2010 FIBA World Championship and the 2012 Summer Olympics. He plays the center position.

Chandler was born to Frank Chandler and Vernie Threadgill, though he did not meet his father Frank until later in his life. He grew up in a family farm in Hanford, California, just south of Fresno, California. Chandler began playing basketball at the age of three years on a basket Chandler's grandfather, Cleotis, fixed on a tree. Chandler grew up doing farm work such as milking cows, slopping pigs, and cultivating crops. At the age of nine years, Chandler and his mother moved to San Bernardino, California; he was already nearly six feet tall. As a child, Chandler was teased because of his height; children on his school basketball team joked that he was older than he really was, and that he had been left back several times in school.

Rex Everett Chapman (born October 5, 1967) is a retired American professional basketball player. Chapman was a college standout at the University of Kentucky and went on to play for four NBA teams through his 12-year career in the league. He later served as the vice president of player personnel with the Denver Nuggets.

A high school basketball star at Apollo High in Owensboro, Kentucky, Chapman was heavily recruited by many universities. He chose, however, to stay close to home when he signed with the University of Kentucky. Chapman was a star with the Kentucky Wildcats where he was named to the All-SEC Team during his freshman and sophomore years. Chapman and Wildcat teammate and future NBA journeyman Winston Bennett helped lead Kentucky to their 37th SEC title with a 27-6 record during his sophomore year. The Wildcats were ranked as the 6th college basketball team in the nation by the Associated Press and UPI and secured the number two seed in the South region of the 1988 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament. Kentucky's talents led the team to the tournament's Sweet Sixteen, where they suffered a defeat against Villanova. Chapman scored 30 in a losing effort. Chapman amassed a total of 1,073 points in only two years at Kentucky before opting to enter the NBA draft. According to Chapman, pressure from the university discouraging his interracial dating influenced his decision to leave early for the NBA draft.

Joy Kristin Cheek (born June 25, 1988) is an American former professional women's basketball player in the WNBA and current assistant coach for the Vanderbilt Commodores women's basketball team. Joy was born in Hyattsville, Maryland and attended South Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.

She played college basketball at Duke University. One of 26 former Duke standouts to register over 1,000 career points, Cheek played in 137 contests in her four years. A four-year letterwinner from 2007–10, she owns career averages of 8.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals. As a senior, Cheek averaged 9.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.3 assists as she started all 36 contests for the Blue Devils. She was named to the Memphis Regional All-Tournament team, All-ACC Tournament First Team, All-ACC Third Team and was a finalist for the Lowe’s Senior Class Award.

Cheek was the 35th overall selection in the 2010 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever, playing in seven contests for the Fever before traveling overseas to play in Leszno, Poland. After signing a brief contract with the Washington Mystics to open the 2011 WNBA season, Cheek was prepared to play in Spain before accepting a job at Duke University as an assistant coach. She held this position from 2011-2013.

Eric Chenowith (born March 9, 1979 in Orange, California) is an American basketball player.

As a high school player, he was selected to the McDonald's All-American Team in 1997. He played collegiately for University of Kansas, and was drafted by the New York Knicks in the 2nd round (43rd overall pick) of the 2001 NBA Draft.

He was under contract with the following NBA teams. Derrick Joseph Chievous (born July 3, 1967) is a retired American professional basketball player who played the forward position, and played three seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) after being selected by the Houston Rockets in the first round (16th overall) of the 1988 NBA Draft.

Chievous played in the NBA from 1988 to 1991 for the Rockets and Cleveland Cavaliers. His best season came during his rookie campaign as a member of the Rockets, when he appeared in 81 games and averaged 9.3 ppg.

Before that, Chievous played collegiately at the University of Missouri, becoming the school's all-time scoring leader with 2,580 points over his collegiate career. Chievous was inducted into the University of Missouri Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 1996. On November 1, 2012 it was announced that Chievous would be part of the "Class of 2012" inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame on November 15.

His son Quinton (b. 1992) played basketball at the University of Tennessee and Hampton University.

Peter Shawn "Pete" Chilcutt (born September 14, 1968) is a retired American professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Born in Sumter, South Carolina, Chilcutt attended Tuscaloosa Academy in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was recruited by a number of schools, and decided to go to University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following a collegiate basketball career at North Carolina, he was selected as a first-round NBA Draft pick in 1991 by the Sacramento Kings.

Chilcutt played forward for seven teams over a nine-year professional career that spanned from the 1991–92 to the 1999–2000 season. He won an NBA Championship in the 1994–95 season with the Houston Rockets, for whom he played from 1994 to 1996. He also played for the Detroit Pistons, Vancouver Grizzlies, Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Utah Jazz.

After his basketball career, Chilcutt became a sixth-grade math and science teacher at Folsom Middle School in Folsom, California.

Childress grew up in Compton, California where he and his brother, Chris, played basketball and did their best to stay out of trouble. The neighborhood they lived in was very tight and supportive, but they lived under constant threat of gangsters in the area. Childress attended Mayfair High School in nearby Lakewood. Besides playing basketball in high school and being named a McDonald's High School All-American, he also played volleyball during his senior year. He led his high school volleyball team, the Monsoons, to an undefeated record and he was voted to the All-League volleyball team.

Childress played three seasons of college basketball with Stanford, where he was named an AP first team All-American, an All-American Consensus second team honoree, the Pac-10 Conference Player of the Year and the Pac-10 Conference Tournament MVP as a junior in 2004. He then declared for the 2004 NBA draft where he was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the sixth overall pick, becoming the highest Stanford player to be drafted in the NBA.

Rakeem Maleek Christmas (born December 1, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Syracuse Orange.

Christmas attended Northeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania between 2007 and 2009, before his junior year he transferred to Academy of the New Church in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania. As a junior, he averaged 13.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game, during his senior season he averaged 11.0 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.9 blocks per game.

He was rated as the #21 player in the class of 2011 by Scout.com. He was rated as the #27 player by Rivals.com. He was named to the Class A first team as a junior.

Christmas committed to Syracuse basketball on August 6, 2010 after his junior season in high school. He started playing for Syracuse in the 2011–12 season.

On June 25, 2015, Christmas was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 36th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft. His rights were then traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers along with those of Cedi Osman and a future second round pick in exchange for the rights of Tyus Jones. He later joined the Cavaliers for the 2015 NBA Summer League, where he averaged 8.0 points and 4.5 rebounds in four games. On July 23, his rights were traded again, this time to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for a 2019 second-round pick. Four days later, he signed with the Pacers. On November 14, he made his professional debut in the Mad Ants' 83–80 win over Raptors 905, recording 24 points, seven rebounds, one steal and one block in 32 minutes. On January 29, he was named in the East All-Star team for the 2016 NBA D-League All-Star Game. In the Pacers' 2015–16 regular season finale, Christmas made his NBA debut, scoring four points and making both his field-goal tries off the bench in a 97–92 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Ousmane Cisse

Ousmane Cisse (born October 20, 1982) is a Malian retired professional basketball player. Standing at 6'9" he played both power forward and center positions.

Ousmane Cisse studied at Montgomery Catholic High School in Montgomery, Alabama, U.S., where he and his teammates won the 2A State Championship. In his first appearance as a Catholic Knight, he broke the Alabama High School Athletic Association's record for block shots in the first half against Horseshoe Bend. He later attended St. Jude Catholic High School in Montgomery, and after graduating he signed up to the 2001 NBA Draft and was selected as a 46th pick overall by the Denver Nuggets.

After he was signed by the Denver Nuggets in 2001 he was injured and released. He then moved to the Harlem Globetrotters. After a year he returned to play in the NBA signing with the Orlando Magic. Ousmane was released just after one game and moved to play in the USBL. In 2003, he signed with the Toronto Raptors and was released after a couple of days, without ever playing with the team.

He moved to play in the NBDL after his release during 2003 and stayed to play there until the 2004–05 season was over, playing for the Fayetteville Patriots.

Cisse started his international career when he signed at Bnei HaSharon in Israel for the 2005–06 season. He led the league in Rebounds (10.1 per game) and blocks (2.5), but the team finished only in the 9th place. Ousmane then stayed three more seasons in Bnei HaSharon reaching the State Cup final in the 2006–07 season and finishing at the 3rd place in the Israeli League in 2007–08.
