Chase Andrew Budinger (born May 22, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for Baskonia of the Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. He was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the 44th overall pick in 2009 NBA draft after playing three years of college basketball for the University of Arizona.

Budinger was a standout basketball and volleyball player at La Costa Canyon High School; his teammates on the basketball team included future NFL quarterback Kevin O'Connell. He won the CIF San Diego Section in 2006.

Budinger was a McDonald's All-American and was the runner up in the 2006 McDonald's All-American Slam Dunk Contest.

Considered a five-star recruit by Rivals.com, Budinger was listed as the No. 2 small forward and the No. 4 player in the nation in 2006.

Budinger chose to sign with Arizona, although he also received offers from many other schools, including USC and UCLA. He averaged 15.6 points in his freshman season, starting all 30 games for the Wildcats. At the conclusion of the season he announced that he planned to stay with Arizona for his sophomore season, despite speculation that he could be picked early in the NBA draft. However, he later announced that he would declare for the draft and not hire an agent. He was projected as a mid-first-round pick by most draft analysts. However, on the final day of the deadline for pulling out of the early entry list, Budinger opted not to remain in the draft and returned to school instead.

After the 2008–09 season, he declared for the NBA draft a second time. Under NCAA rules, declaring for the draft a second time ends a player's college eligibility.

William Buford

William Buford (born January 10, 1990) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for Limoges CSP.

As a junior at Libbey High School, Buford averaged 28 points and 12 rebounds per game, earning All-State honors. During his senior season, Buford averaged 23 points and 11 rebounds per game. Buford was also named Ohio Mr. Basketball. Buford also participated in the McDonald's All-American Game and the Jordan Brand Classic.

In Buford's freshman season at Ohio State, he averaged 11.3 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. For the week of January 19, Buford was named the Big Ten Player of the Week, after averaging 17 points and 6 rebounds per game in two Ohio State wins. He was also named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year and was an Honorable Mention All-Big Ten selection.

As a sophomore, Buford averaged 14.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. He was also a Third Team All Big-Ten selection.

In his junior season at Ohio State, Buford averaged 14.4 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. He was also a Second Team All Big-Ten selection.

Before his senior season at Ohio State, Buford was a preseason All Big-Ten selection, as well as a Top-50 Naismith and Wooden Award watch. In his senior season, Buford averaged 14.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Following the season, Buford was named to the All Big-Ten Second Team. He was also named a Lowe's Senior Class Award finalist.

After going undrafted in the 2012 NBA draft, Buford joined the Minnesota Timberwolves for their pre-Summer League mini-camp and the Timberwolves' Las Vegas Summer League team. In two games with the Timberwolves, Buford recorded a total of five rebounds and two assists.

In August 2012, he signed his first professional contract with Blu:sens Monbús of Spain.

Buford joined the Utah Jazz for the 2013 NBA Summer League. In November 2013, he was acquired by the Santa Cruz Warriors. On March 8, 2014, he was traded to Canton Charge.

On November 2, 2014, Buford was reacquired by the Canton Charge. He was waived by Canton on December 17, 2014. On January 9, 2015, he was acquired by the Texas Legends.

Louis Bullock, Jr. (born May 20, 1976) is an American former professional basketball player.

Although his records have officially been vacated due to the University of Michigan basketball scandal, his vacated records are unsurpassed for most single-season three-point field goals and career free throws in Michigan Wolverines men's basketball. In 2011, Jon Diebler surpassed his career three point total for the Big Ten Conference record.

From Maryland outside of Washington, D.C., Bullock first gained national attention at the now defunct Canterbury Preparatory School (in Accokeek, Maryland) before transferring his senior year to Laurel Baptist. In 1995, he was named Washington Post All Met Basketball Player of the Year. He was also a McDonald's All-American (where he won the three-point contest) and was widely considered one of the nation's top 30 prospects for that year. The McDonald's All-American three-point contest that Bullock won was brought back to the media when ESPN Classic's "Cheap Seats" re-aired it in an episode depicting the contest as well as the 2003 NHL Skills competition. He chose the University of Michigan over numerous other schools, including Florida and Maryland.

At Michigan, Bullock would rank third on the school's all-time scoring list with 2,224 points, along with 299 assists, and 137 steals, but all of his and the team's accomplishments while he played have been wiped from the records books because of the University of Michigan basketball scandal in which he and three other Michigan players were given illicit loans by booster Ed Martin. He would be second in Big Ten Conference history in three-point field goals with 339, including a school record 101 in 1996. He also made 86.9% of his free throws during his career. His 505 free throws made is more than current record holder Cazzie Russell who had 486 but only played three seasons due to freshmen being ineligible during the time he played, or Manny Harris who had 484 but went to the NBA after his junior season. He held the school record for career minutes played until surpassed in 2012 by Zack Novak.

Reginald Ryedell Bullock (born March 16, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the University of North Carolina. While attending Kinston High School, he was ranked #16 in the nation, and was the #3 high school shooting guard for the class of 2010.

Bullock led his high school basketball team, the Kinston High Vikings, to three state championship games during his high school career, winning two championship titles. In 2008, they won the 3A title and in 2010 won the 2A title. During the 2010 championship game against West Caldwell, he was named Most Valuable Player and scored a team high of 15 points. He averaged 25 points and 11 rebounds per game for the 2009–2010 season to make the AP All-State men's team for a third straight season.

He is ranked 16th in nation overall and 3rd in nation for shooting guard from espn.com. He received a scout's grade of 96. On Rivals.com he is ranked 10th in the nation. He was chosen, along with eight other USA players to play in the 2010 McDonald's All-American game. Bullock was on the East Team along with Tobias Harris, Kendall Marshall, Kyrie Irving, and Jared Sullinger. Bullock also played in the Nike Hoops Summit game, the Spalding Hoophall Classic, the Jordan Brand Classic, the King James Classic, and the City of Palms Classic.

Bullock played on the "CP3 Allstars". The team won the Gold Bracket Championships, were champions of Southern Jam Fest, runners up at Gibbons TOC, and in the Final Four at the Knoxvegas Heat.

Bullock received scholarship offers from North Carolina, Maryland, Ohio State, Wake Forest, and Indiana. He committed to UNC in January 2008, shortly after receiving an offer from the Tar Heels.

In Bullock's freshman season in 2010–11, he was sixth on the team in scoring and the second-leading scorer off the bench at 6.1 points per game. On February 27, 2011, he tore the lateral meniscus in his left knee in a win over Maryland. He had surgery on March 7 to repair the injury and missed the rest of the 2010–11 season.

In his sophomore season in 2011–12, he led UNC in three-pointers made with 71 and three-point percentage at 38.2%. With 8.8 points per game, he was the fourth-leading scorer on the team.

Chris Burgess

Chris Burgess (born April 23, 1979) is an American former professional basketball player. Burgess started his freshman year at Mater Dei High School, then transferred to his local school Woodbridge High School in California and played his remaining high school years. He then attended Duke University and University of Utah. Although Burgess attended training camp with the Phoenix Suns of the NBA, and played on several NBA Summer League teams, he never played in a regular-season NBA game. He did, however, play professional basketball in a variety of leagues in various parts of the world. In 2013, he officially retired from professional basketball and joined the coaching staff at the University of Utah as an undergraduate assistant coach. Since 2015, Burgess is an assistant coach for the Utah Valley University men's basketball team.

Out of high school, Burgess was recruited by several high-profile programs, and he eventually narrowed the choices to Duke and BYU. After consideration, he signed with the Blue Devils. Burgess' decision to attend Duke rather than BYU prompted a controversial series of comments from Cougar head coach Roger Reid, who accused Burgess of letting down his religion by turning down the offer from BYU. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Burgess was anticipated by many in the community to sign with BYU, which is owned and operated by that faith. Coach Reid's tirade was the straw that broke the back of his already strained relationship with the university; he was fired by the athletics department in consequence of the remarks and his team's 1-6 start to the season.

Burgess played alongside William Avery, Shane Battier, Elton Brand and Corey Maggette at Duke University for two years between 1997-1999 (i.e. the 1998 and 1999 seasons) under coach Mike Krzyzewski. Duke made the Elite Eight and the NCAA National Championship game in Burgess's two seasons. He averaged 4.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, and shot 50.8% from the field while averaging 12.5 minutes a game as a freshman. He averaged 5.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, & shot 61.4% from the field while averaging 15.6 minutes a game as a sophomore. He left Duke as the 23rd all-time leading blocks leader. His performance fell short of the high expectations heaped on the McDonald's High School All-American when Burgess first chose Duke over BYU.

Brian Butch (born December 22, 1984) is an American professional basketball player for Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka of the Japanese B.League. He was a center on the 2003 McDonald's All-American basketball team who later attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison on a basketball scholarship. He was briefly a member of the Denver Nuggets of the NBA, although he never played any games for them.

He went to Appleton West High School, Butch was a two-time Wisconsin State Player of the Year by the Associated Press. He averaged 22.8 points and 10.1 rebounds as a senior, leading Appleton West High School to a 23-3 record and the Division 1 State Championship game in 2003. Butch is also Appleton West's all-time leading scorer with 1,431 points. He broke a 35-year-old Wisconsin state tournament record by scoring 45 points in the quarterfinals, which was held at the University of Wisconsin–Madison's Kohl Center. Butch averaged 30.8 points in four games at the Kohl Center over his prep career.

Butch was later named a 2003 McDonald's All-American ("West" squad) where he shared the court with players such as LeBron James and Luol Deng. He scored 6 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in the nationally televised contest.

Butch elected to redshirt his freshman year.

As a redshirt-freshman, Butch played in 27 games, averaging 9.7 minutes, 3.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, 0.2 assists, and 0.3 blocks. He missed six games with mononucleosis. He scored his then career-high 12 points versus Northwestern University and grabbed a career-high 9 rebounds versus University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Butch was named academic All-Big Ten.

Jackie Butler (born March 10, 1985) is an American retired professional basketball player.

Butler was born in McComb, Mississippi and attended McComb High School and originally committed to play at Mississippi State University but failed to qualify academically. He later enrolled at Laurinburg Institute, then transferred to Coastal Christian Academy prep school in Virginia Beach. Although he wanted to sign with the University of Tennessee in 2004, he decided to declare for the 2004 NBA Draft, the first player that year to do so.

No team drafted Butler in 2004. Butler signed as a free agent with the Minnesota Timberwolves and was cut training camp. Butler played briefly with the New York Knicks for the 2004-05 NBA season. He scored ten points over three games, by successfully making all four of his field goals and both free throw attempts. Butler finished the 2004-2005 season with the Continental Basketball Association where over 40 games with the Great Lakes Storm he averaged 18.1 points (tenth in CBA), 10.7 rebounds (third) and 1.45 blocks (third) per game. He later was drafted in the 2005 AAPBL Draft. However the league folded soon thereafter.

When Larry Brown was hired as the New York Knicks' head coach, it was unclear what sort of role Butler would have. After the pre-season, Brown publicly commented on how happy he was with Butler, and considered him his fourth rookie (along with Channing Frye, Nate Robinson and David Lee). After a rocky start, Butler was soon praised as being the Knicks' best center, with Eddy Curry and Jerome James having disappointing starts to their Knick careers. For the 2005-06 NBA season Butler played in 55 games averaging 13.5 minutes, 5.3 points (54.4% field goal percentage) and 3.3 rebounds per game. He earned $641,748 with the Knicks.

The 6' 5" (1.96 m) shooting guard signed undrafted with the Washington Bullets in 1993 after a collegiate career at UCLA in which he played in more career games than any other Bruin and swiped the 7th most steals in UCLA history. After three seasons in Washington, Butler was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers along with Rasheed Wallace in exchange for Rod Strickland and Harvey Grant. Following his stint playing for the Blazers, he signed as a free agent with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Following the 1999 season, Butler did not play in the NBA for 2 years.
