Datuk Richard Riot Jaem (born 1 December 1951) is a Malaysian politician. He is the federal Minister for Human Resources and the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Serian constituency in Sarawak. He has also served as Chairman of the Sarawak Rivers Board. He is the Deputy President of the Sarawak United Peoples' Party (SUPP).
Riot first won the Serian seat in 1990 as an independent, but was elected in 1995 on a Barisan Nasional ticket. After the 2008 election, there was speculation that Riot would defect to the opposition People's Justice Party; however, Riot denied the speculation and the move never materialised.
After serving for more than 20 years as a backbencher, Riot was appointed as Deputy Foreign Minister in a minor Cabinet reshuffle on 1 June 2010. In 2013 he was promoted to the full ministry as Minister for Human Resources.
During SUPP's triennial assembly in 2011, Riot was elected as the party's first non-Chinese deputy president.
