This is a list of the 100 verified oldest people. The oldest verified person on record was French woman Jeanne Calment (1875–1997), who lived to the age of 122 years, 164 days. There are eight verified living supercentenarians on this list, the oldest of whom is Italian woman Emma Morano, aged 117 years, 66 days.
