Frogwares is an independent Ukrainian video game development studio headquartered in Kyiv with subsidiary offices in Dublin. Together with its subsidiaries, the studio is widely recognized for their adventure games created for major gaming platforms, including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, PC and mobile.
Frogwares is best known for developing games in the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes series.
Casual games are developed under the name Waterlily Games. This sub-studio is focused on casual, hidden object, and light adventure games for PC and iOS.
GameSpot awarded Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened for Best Use of a Creative License in 2007. BigFishGames awarded Sherlock Holmes and The Hound of the Baskervilles for Best Story in 2010.
