Crimewatch is a television programme produced by the National Crime Prevention Council, Singapore and Singapore Police Force. Currently presented by serving regular police officers, it showcases the work of the Singapore Police Force including solved cases, appeals for unsolved cases, as well as crime prevention advice. It is based on the German programme Aktenzeichen XY... ungelöst, or "File XY... Unsolved".

The programme is telecast monthly in four languages: English (Crimewatch), Mandarin (绳之以法), Malay (Jejak Jenayah) and Tamil (Kutra Kannkaanippu). The English version was first shown in 1986, followed by Mandarin, then Malay in 2000 and Tamil in 2001.

The series was first telecast on 30 November 1986 and the Mandarin version debuted a week later. The episode featured the unsolved murder of a 19-year-old national serviceman and a public appeal from the victim's parents. Less than two weeks after the episode was broadcast, police were able to identify and arrest the suspects based on information provided by viewers responding to the appeal.Episodes after 1993 are found on toggle.sg and only english and chinese version for crimewatch 1993-2008.

The current presenters for the series includes Superintendent of Police (SUPT) Julius Lim, Superintendent of Police (SUPT) Sergius Wat, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Jonathan Au Yong, Superintendent of Police (SUPT) Rachel Soh or ASP Jessica Ang (Mandarin version), Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Zainal Ramli (Malay version) and Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kalaichelvan Daniel (Tamil version).

Former hosts of the English version include:

In most segments, through reenactments, the programme shows the details of what happened in a crime, as well as detailed sentencing of the suspect. The narrator describes the scene of the crime until for Crimewatch stories until 2011. Since 2012, there is no narrating and describing (except for episode 9 in the 2013 season). However, presenter will continue to speak about the sentencing each "criminal" had. The conclusion of each segment offers advice to the public for their own protection and safety related to that particular segment.
