The 2003-04 IRB Sevens World Series was the fifth edition of the tournament.
*South Africa won the 2003 Dubai Sevens and lost in the Cup Semi-Finals at the 2003 South Africa Sevens but no points are indicated on the IRB Series Standings for 2003-04. The corresponding description of the series on World Rugby's website, lists South Africa as having finished third and won Dubai. It appears that South Africa should have 20 and 12 points respectively, resulting in 106 points total.
