Conchita Martínez was the defending champion, but she lost to Arantxa Sánchez Vicario in the semifinals. Steffi Graf defeated Sánchez Vicario 4–6, 6–1, 7–5 in the final to win the Ladies' Singles tennis title at the 1995 Wimbledon Championships, giving Graf the sixth Wimbledon title of her career.
