Şenyurt (former Derbesiye, Kurdish: Dirbêsî‎) is a town in Mardin Province, Turkey

Şenyurt is in Kızıltepe district of Mardin Province. Situated at 37°05′N 40°39′E / 37.083°N 40.650°E / 37.083; 40.650 it is 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) south of Kızıltepe and 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of Mardin. The population of the town was 1853 as of 2011. Şenyurt is a typical border town.

After the First World War, the Ottoman Empire collapsed and Syria was occupied by the French army. Later, the French occupation zone became the Syrian Arab Republic. The Turkey-Syria border line follows the railroad. Like all settlements on the railroad, the southern quarters of the town are in Syria and the northern quarters are in Turkey. The southern portion in Syria is Al-Darbasiyah (Arabic: الدرباسية‎‎).

Economically, Şenköy used to depend on the border check point. But in 1980s the border gate was closed because of the insecurity caused by rebellious activities around. Thus, the town lost an important source of revenue.
