Xtep International Holdings Limited (Chinese: 特步; pinyin: Tèbù) is a publicly traded sportswear firm headquartered in Hong Kong and Xiamen, Fujian, China. It is engaged in the design, development, manufacture and sales of athletic shoes and sporting goods under the "Xtep" brand.
Xtep was originally founded in Quanzhou, Fujian, China in 1999 by Ding Shuipo.
It was listed on the in June 2008.
On 18 January 2010, Xtep released a press statement confirming they had secured a five-year kit sponsorship deal worth around £7m with English Premier League club Birmingham City.Birmingham's vice chairman Peter Pannu hailed the deal as "the biggest sponsorship the club has acquired" and stated that "Xtep are big players in the sportswear market in China and this partnership will expand the Birmingham City FC brand in the Far East." However, on 29 June 2012 Birmingham City announced that they scrapped the five-year deal.
On 22 July 2011, Xtep announced a five-year cooperation agreement with Spanish La Liga team Villarreal CF for a kit sponsorship deal.
