Valmadrera is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of Milan and about 3 kilometres (2 mi) west of Lecco. As of 31 December 2010, it had a population of 11,542 and an area of 12.56 square kilometres (4.85 sq mi).
The municipality of Valmadrera contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Belvedere, Ceppo, Parè, San Dionigi, and Trebbia.
