Unechsky District (Russian: Унечский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Bryansk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the western central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,148 square kilometers (443 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Unecha. Population: 40,682 (2010 Census); 46,871 (2002 Census);49,383 (1989 Census). The population of Unecha accounts for 64.4% of the district's total population.
