Taivassalo (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈtɑiʋɑˌsːɑlo]; Swedish: Tövsala) is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Southwest Finland region. The municipality has a population of 1,643 (31 March 2016) and covers an area of 140.31 square kilometres (54.17 sq mi) of which 77.23 km2 (29.82 sq mi) is water. The population density is 11.7 inhabitants per square kilometre (30/sq mi).
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
