Spijk is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Lingewaal, and lies about 3 km northeast of Gorinchem.
In 2001, the village of Spijk had 413 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.093 km², and contained 158 residences. The statistical area "Spijk", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 980.
Spijk was a separate municipality between 1817 and 1855, when it became part of Heukelum. At that time, Spijk was still part of the province of South Holland.
