Santa Rosa is a town in Cameron County, Texas, United States. The population was 2,873 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Brownsville–Harlingen–Raymondville and the Matamoros–Brownsville metropolitan areas.

Santa Rosa is located in northwestern Cameron County at 26°15′24″N 97°49′36″W / 26.25667°N 97.82667°W / 26.25667; -97.82667 (26.256651, -97.826673). It is 6 miles (10 km) west of Combes and 7 miles (11 km) east of La Villa.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.77 square miles (2.0 km2), all of it land.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2,833 people, 744 households, and 647 families residing in the town. The population density was 4,814.8 people per square mile (1,853.9/km²).
