The year 2015 was the 5th year in the history of the SUPERKOMBAT Fighting Championship (SUPERKOMBAT), a kickboxing promotion based in Romania. 2015 starts with SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix I 2015 and ends with SUPERKOMBAT Special Edition Italy. The events are broadcasts through television agreements with Eurosport and other regional channels including in Canada and the United States.
SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix I 2015 was a kickboxing event held by the SUPERKOMBAT Fighting Championship on March 7, 2015 at the Sala Sporturilor Olimpia in Ploiești, Romania.
The promotion kicked off the 2015 in style with this first event of the year. The show began with a SUPERKOMBAT New Heroes undercard that looked to help them establish talent for future SUPERKOMBAT events. Over the years SK has developed quite a bit of talent that have made a splash on the world stage and this card serves as both a reminder and a sign of what is to come with the New Heroes fights. The main card featured many of the names that the promotion fans have grown to know and love, including: Clyde Brunswijk, D'Angelo Marshall, Bogdan Stoica, Amansio Paraschiv, Andrei Stoica and heavyweight bruiser Benjamin Adegbuyi.
Hollywood actress Bai Ling was a special guest.
SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix II 2015 was a kickboxing event held by the SUPERKOMBAT Fighting Championship on May 23, 2015 at the Sala Polivalentă in Bucharest, Romania.
