Mirat-ul-Uroos (Urdu: مراۃ العروس) is a 30-episode-long Urdu language Pakistani telenovela which was first broadcast in Pakistan by Geo TV, premiering on 4 December 2012. It was directed by Anjum Shehzad and written by Umera Ahmed, Mirat-ul-Uroos, which is based on an Urdu novel of the same name by Nazir Ahmad Dehlvi. It ended its run in Pakistan on 6 June 2013. Featuring actors Aamina Sheikh, Mehwish Hayat, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Ahsan Khan, Samina Ahmad, Ayesha Khan, Umer Naru, Moomal Sheikh, and Afraz Rasool, Mirat-ul-Uroos has also been broadcast in India by Zindagi, under the title Aaina Dulhan Ka, premiering on 10 November 2014 and ending its premier run on 13 December 2014. Due to its popularity in India it started to run again from 8 May 2015 at 6pm.
Mirat-ul-Uroos contrasts the lives of the grandchildren of Akbari (Ayesha Khan Sr.) and Asghari (Samina Ahmad). Akbari's first grand-daughter Aiza (Aamina Sheikh) is very arrogant, spendthrift and has been raised with a lot of love while her second granddaughter Aima (Mehwish Hayat) is the exact opposite of Aiza. While Asghari's grandsons are Hammad (Mikaal Zulfiqar) and Haashim (Ahsan Khan), who fall for and eventually get married to Aiza and Aima. Aiza shows her true colours in her in-laws' house. Hammad is involved in an extramarital affair and Aiza leaves him, but finally they reunite.
