Makrauli is a first village on Rohtak-Gohana-Panipat highway in Haryana state of India. It is known as one, an amalgamation of two, Makrauli Khurd(मकड़ौली खुर्द) and Makrauli Kalan (मकड़ौली कलां). These are two different adjacent small villages and generally treated as one village i.e. Makrauli. Mudgil, Brahmin caste is the main habitant of the village. It is the birth pace of eminent Physiotherapist Doctor Ravinder Kumar Mudgil. He is a social activist and organises free health camps in the varios parts of Haryana. Few Jat people of Punia gotr are also residing in the village. Late Sh. Juglal Mudgil was a famous personality of the village and he is known for his work as social work against social evils. People are well to do in the village. Arya Samaj gurukul is on ladhot road. A Government Senior Secondary School(GSSS) near village pond is also situated there. It is a clean and ideal village declared by the government in Haryana. A temple, small mandi, housing projects, Axis Bank are there. A Charitable Clinic in the memory of Late Sh. Prithvi and Smt. Indra Mudgil is also there. The village is near Rohtak-Gohana toll. Its Pincode is 124001.

Makrouli Khurd has an average literacy(2076) rate of 73.4%, more than the national average of 73.4%: male literacy(1183) is 56.98%, and female literacy(893) is 43.01% of total literates (2076).
