Makoti is a city in Ward County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 154 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Minot Micropolitan Statistical Area. Makoti was founded in 1911.
Makoti is located at 47°57′41″N 101°48′19″W / 47.96139°N 101.80528°W (47.961293, -101.805180). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.20 square miles (0.52 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2010, there were 154 people, 71 households, and 38 families residing in the city. The population density was 770.0 inhabitants per square mile (297.3/km2). There were 87 housing units at an average density of 435.0 per square mile (168.0/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 95.5% White, 0.6% from other races, and 3.9% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.3% of the population.
