The oldest verified woman ever was Jeanne Calment (1875-1997) of France, who is also the oldest verified person ever and who died at the age of 122 years, 164 days. There are nine verified living supercentenarians on this list, the oldest of whom is Italian woman Emma Morano, aged 117 years, 128 days.
