Kuryinsky District (Russian: Курьи́нский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. It is located in the south of the krai. The area of the district is 2,500 square kilometers (970 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Kurya. Population: 11,079 (2010 Census);13,492 (2002 Census);14,012 (1989 Census). The population of Kurya accounts for 34.6% of the district's total population.
