Kurganinsky District (Russian: Курга́нинский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Kurganinsky Municipal District. It is located in the east of the krai. The area of the district is 1,590 square kilometers (610 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Kurganinsk. Population: 103,036 (2010 Census);103,999 (2002 Census);93,811 (1989 Census). The population of Kurganinsk accounts for 46.6% of the district's total population.
