Korochansky District (Russian: Корочанский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the twenty-one in Belgorod Oblast, Russia. As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Korochansky Municipal District. It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,417 square kilometers (547 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Korocha. Population: 38,695 (2010 Census); 39,722 (2002 Census);39,409 (1989 Census). The population of Korocha accounts for 15.2% of the district's total population.
