The Kawasaki Ninja 400R is a motorcycle in the Ninja series from the Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki. It was announced for the 2011 model year, and is sold in Canada and New Zealand. No plans currently exist to bring the bike to the UK market. The Ninja 400R is a smaller cousin to the Ninja 650R, to which it is closely related. However, it can also be seen as a successor to the earlier GPZ400S of the 1980s and of the 1990s, both of which were only sold in Japan.
