Jawani Phir Nahi Ani is a 2015 Pakistani adventure and comedy film directed by Nadeem Beyg and co-produced by Humayun Saeed, Salman Iqbal, Shahzad Nasib. The movie was produced by Humayun Saeed's production house, Six Sigma Plus. The film stars Humayun Saeed, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahmad Ali Butt, Vasay Chaudhry, Mehwish Hayat and Sohai Ali Abro. The supporting cast includes Javed Sheikh, Ismail Tara, Bushra Ansari, Ayesha Khan, Sarwat Gillani and Uzma Khan. The plot revolves around the story of a single divorce lawyer who takes his three married friends on a trip to help them escape their wives.
The film was released worldwide on 25, September 2015 in India, Middle East, South Africa, Australia and Europe. It took the title as the biggest opening Pakistani film of all time with the movie being released on 80 screens domestically.
It received mixed reviews from critics but ended up being a runaway success at the box office by grossing over ₨ 49 crores, making it the highest grossing Pakistani film in the world. Previously, this title had been held by the 1998 hit, Choorian.
Three childhood friends, Saif (Hamza Ali Abbasi), Sheikh(Cheikh) (Vasay Chaudhry) and Pervez (Ahmad Ali Butt), have settled down in marriage life but are afraid of their wives. Their friend Sherry (Humayun Saeed), a divorce lawyer, returns to Pakistan from U.S. to meet them, and finds that all his friends are in miserable marriages. Sherry makes the three friends' wives happy only to allow them to send their husbands to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with him so that Sherry decides to take his friends on a guys trip to Bangkok to add excitement to their lives.
