"Got to Get It" is a song recorded by the German eurodance band Culture Beat. It was released in September 1993 as the second single from their second album Serenity and was released in September 1993.
The song was a hit in many countries, particularly in Sweden, the Netherlands and UK where it reached the top 5. However, it also achieved a great success in the other countries in which it was released. It did not reach the same level of sales of the previous single, "Mr Vain", however.
Shawnee Smith, of Billboard magazine reviewed the song favorably, saying that the song sports a "better chorus and aggressive, synth-soaked beats" that their previous single, "Mr. Vain". She goes on to say that the song is a "blend of party-down male rapping and cute female-belting is familiar and fun."
The music video of "Got to Get It" was directed by Matt Broadley. It was filmed in Algarve, Portugal and in Denmark.
