Gholamreza Ansari (Persian: غلامرضا انصاﺭی, born October 24, 1956) an Iranian diplomat. He was elected as a member of Tehran City Council in 2013 local elections. Ansari is a former ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Russian Federation. a position he held from June 2005 to 2 October 2008. From May 1999 to October 2000, Ansari was the Iranian ambassador to the United Kingdom.
