Farm to Market Roads in Texas are owned and maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
FM 400 is an 85-mile-long (137 km) farm to market road in northern Texas running from an interchange with US 87 near Tahoka to FM 145 near Kress. The highway runs around the east side of Lubbock.
FM 401 is a farm to market road in and around Childress. It runs 1.2 miles (1.9 km) and is located entirely in Childress County. It begins at an intersection with US 287 (Avenue F) and 7th Street in downtown Childress, heads north along 7th Street to a T-intersection with FM 3181 north of the city. The highway was designated in 1970.
