Eucalyptus odorata is a small to mediumevergreen Eucalyptus tree native to South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales. It is commonly known as Peppermint Box,Box Gum and Black Mallee.
It is widely distributed in South Australia, between the southern Flinders Ranges and Bordertown and Lake Alexandrina, and on the lower Eyre Peninsula and Kangaroo Island.E. odorata also occurs in north-western Victoria and in the Cobar region of New South Wales.
