Eternal Love aka Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms (Chinese: ; pinyin: ) is a 2017 Chinese romantic fantasy television series starring Yang Mi and Mark Chao. It is based on the xianxia novel of the same name by TangQi GongZi. The series started broadcasting on Jiangsu TV and Dragon TV starting January 30, 2017.
The drama has over 30 billion views online, 29 million comments on Sina Weibo, and ranked number 1 drama in both the Weibo and Baidu ‘most popular’ lists.
During a devastating war, the Celestial Tribe pays a heavy price to seal the Demon Lord Qing Cang, bringing balance to the Four Seas and Eight Realms. 70,000 years later, when a reawakened Qing Cang attempts to break through his imprisonment, the Goddess of Nine tailed fox tribe Bai Qian (Yang Mi) performs the spells to reseal him. In retaliation, Qing Cang, in turn, seals her memories, powers, and goddess identity, and Bai Qian descends to the earthly world as a mortal. In the mortal world, she meets Ye Hua (Mark Chao), the Crown Prince of the Heavenly Tribe, and the two fall in love. Ye Hua's attempts to keep Su Su (Bai Qian's mortal identity) hidden and safe, as well as abandon his title to be with her, are thwarted, and she is stolen away to the Nine Heavens. Su Jin, jealous of Ye Hua's love for Su Su, frames her for crimes from which Ye Hua cannot protect her. She creates several situations to cause Su Su to believe that Ye Hua does not love her, culminating in Ye Hua being forced to dig out Bai Qian's eyes. Thinking that Ye Hua has betrayed and used her, a devastated Su Su jumps from Zhu Xian Tai, the celestial execution platform. The power of Zhu Xian Tai breaks Qing Cang's seal, and Su Su reawakens as Bai Qian. Bai Qian is unable to cope with the pain in her heart, and, at her request, all of her memories as Su Su are erased and she forgets Ye Hua. 300 years later, in another lifetime and another world, the two meet again as deities. Ye Hua immediately recognizes Bai Qian as the one woman he loves, but the latter remains indifferent. He begins to pursue a course to regain her love. From beginning to end, time continues to flow and the lines of their fates continue to cross: an entanglement of three lives and three worlds.
