Duncan Tappy (born 26 June 1984 in West Ewell, Surrey) is a professional racing driver from the United Kingdom.

Tappy began his racing career in 2003 in the Zip Formula Great Britain series before competing in the Southern Formula Ford championship with Steve Mole Motosrport for 2004. In the three races he contested he took one podium. The following year he moved up to the UK Formula Ford championship, racing in the winter series where he finished as runner-up. He also took part in the Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch, finishing in eleventh place.

In 2005 Tappy took part in the full UK Formula Ford season with Jamun Racing, taking an seventeen podiums in twenty races, including ten victories, to finish runner-up in the standings. He completed his year by winning the end-of-season Formula Ford Festival at the second attempt. During this year Tappy was also selected as a finalist for the prestigious McLaren Autosport BRDC award.

In 2006 he stepped up to the British Formula Renault 2.0 Championship with Jamun Racing, finishing his debut year eighteenth in the standings. He was also awarded 'Rising Star' status by the British Racing Drivers Club. Tappy stayed in the series for a second season in 2007, this time switching to Fortec Motorsport. During the season, he took sixteen podium finishes, including nine race wins, to end the year as series champion. He also took part in selected rounds of the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup and French Formula Renault 2.0.

At the end of the season Tappy was named as British Club Driver of the Year at the annual Autosport Awards and once again nominated for the McLaren Autosport BRDC Award. During the off-season, he tested a World Series car for both Red Devil Team Comtec and Fortec Motorsport with a view to entering the championship in 2008, but a lack of funds prevented the move.
