Drenchia (Slovene: Dreka) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) north of Trieste and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northeast of Udine, on the border with Slovenia. Drenchia is located on the western slopes of the Kolovrat Range, dividing Italy from Slovenia, and borders the following municipalities: Grimacco, Kanal ob Soči (Slovenia), Kobarid (Slovenia), and Tolmin (Slovenia).
