Dimaro (in local dialect: Dimàr, German: Diemmer) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 66 kilometres (41 mi) northwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,193 and an area of 28.3 square kilometres (10.9 sq mi).
The municipality of Dimaro contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Folgarida and Carciato.
