Darren Kennedy is an Irish television personality, IFTA nominated TV presenter, documentary maker, lifestyle writer and designer from Dublin, now based in London. He once had an article published in the Irish Independent Weekend magazine. He is a brand ambassador for the UK highstreet optician Specsavers.
Kennedy was reporter on the Gerry Ryan show 2FM and Operation Transformation on RTÉ One, and hosted celebrity entertainment series #Trending on RTÉ 2 and regularly presented on ITV 1’s This Morning alongside Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield. He co-created and presented ‘Gay Daddy’, and co-presented and devised ‘The Unemployables’ with Jennifer Maguire. In 2014, he designed a menswear collection in collaboration with Louis Copeland which ran for 6 seasonal collections.. He presented CBBC's Project Parent series and Channel 5's internationally syndicated travel series 'Holiday Heaven on Earth. Kennedy has also guested on E!, ITV's Xtra Factor, and Big Brother's Bit On The Side. In July 2017 he guest hosted TV3's flagship entertainment show Xpose.
