Chakri Vakilan (Urdu:چڪرى وكيلاں ) is a village in Gujar Khan Tehsil, Rawalpindi District, Pakistan. The village is about 6 miles from Gujar Khan on the road from Gujar Khan to Daultala.
Gulyana, Cheena, Mardyal, Patt, Dhoke Khokar are a few villages located in the neighbourhood of Chakri Vakilan.
The name Chakri comes from chakr or panchiat 'meaning circle sitting . Vakilan comes from Vakil meaning a man who helps someone in arguing his case '. So combination of both words Chakri Vakilan would mean a panchiat or jury of Lords . This village is also famous for the shrine of Sufi saint Baba Sahib Subhan.

The village dwellers take particular interest in sports. Cricket, volleyball (shoot ball), football, hockey and tent pegging are particularly followed.
Cricket
The village has produced some fine players in the game. Raja Abdul Razzaq Abbas introduced cricket in village in 1970. The game has since evolved and Waheed Akmal, Nasir Subhani, Raja Asim zia Kiyani, Raja Aamir zia Kiyani (famous as " the Zia brothers), Ihsan-ul-Haq, Raja Zulfiqar Ali ( known as Zulaf), Raja Imran Hussain, Raja Wajid Ali and Raja Nazam Faraz were arguably the finest players of the local village level cricket.
Football
There are some notable performances in football under captaincy of Abdullah famous by nick name of "TT". The village has benefited from its Dutch link through some families living in the Netherlands. Junaid Ahmed Raja, a Dutch national from the Kalyal clan has raised the village profile in the sport.
Raja Azad was a famous weight lifter of locality.
Tent-Pegging
Although the village has always had some connection with some form of equestrian activity, Raja Abdullah Abbas is the first man to introduce the tent-pegging sport in a competitive form in mid 90s. Since, the village saw a sharp rise in this sport and the village has produced some renowned experts. Raja Haider Abbas Kalyal is the Punjab-level horse rider, trainer, and talent spotter. He has won several titles for the village. Ch Shahbaz has emerged as a critically acclaimed rider with winning the third position among a field of over 750 competitors at Faisalabad Agricultural University in 2016. Other riders include Ch Ali Raza, Bhatti Shahzad and Hassan Akhtar.
