Carugate (Lombard: Carugaa [karyˈgaː]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 15 kilometres (9 mi) northeast of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 13,479 and an area of 5.4 square kilometres (2.1 sq mi).
