The Branchville Metro-North Railroad station serves residents of the Branchville area of Ridgefield, Connecticut via the Danbury Branch of the New Haven Line.
The station is 54.0 miles to Grand Central Terminal and the average travel time from there is 1 hour, 38 minutes regardless of through trains or transfers at Stamford or South Norwalk.
The station has 168 parking spaces, all owned by the state.
The station does not have a staffed ticket office and does not have ticket machines. Tickets may be purchased on board trains without a surcharge. The station building was built in 1905 by the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad, and is currently occupied by the Whistle Stop Bakery.
This station has one three-car-long high-level side platform to the west of the track. The Danbury Branch has one through track at this location, but at the station house a switch leads to a 1,500-foot (460 m) passing loop that extends north well past the platform and station area before rejoining the line.
