Bengt Oxenstierna (1591-1643)

Bengt Bengtsson Oxenstierna (1591–1643) was a Swedish diplomat and noble, the Swedish Privy Councillor, and Governor-General of Ingria and Livonia who traveled to Persia, Palestine and Egypt. He was born in 1591 to Bengt Gabrielsson Oxenstierna The Elder and Brita Posse and married in 1633 to Margareta Brahe.
