Avinash Sachdev (born August 22, 1986), is an Indian television actor known for the character Dev in the Hindi soap opera, Chotti Bahu and Shlok Agnihotri in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?...Ek Baar Phir.
In 2012, Sachdev ventured into business opening several fashion stores in Mumbai. In 2015, he married his Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?...Ek Baar Phir co-star and a television writer Shalmalee Desai.
In the early days of Sachdev's career he was interested in filmmaking and modelling. Sachdev has also won several titles like Mr Baroda, Mr University, and Mr Gujarat (2004-2005) that compelled him to participate in Gladrags Model Hunt. Later, he took up acting projects to develop filmmaking skills.
His first notable acting role was in a TVS Scooty commercial. Later in his career, he had done several television commercials for Cadbury Dairy Milk, GRT Jewellers eBay and Sun Feast. Sachdev secured his first television role in the soap opera Karam Apna Apna (2006) and was even finalised for the leading role in Sapna Babul Ka..Bidaai and Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari . However, Dev in Chotti Bahu (2008) was his first leading role and it earned him Indian Telly Award for Fresh New Face (2009) and Zee Rishtey award for Popular Male Face of the year 2009. In 2013, he played the lead character Shlok Agnihotry in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?...Ek Baar Phir. In 2015, Sachdev joined the cast of Qubool Hai Season 4 as the lead Balika Vadhu season 2 (2016) was his third television project with Sphere Origins.
