Aundh State was a Maratha princely state in the British Raj, in the Deccan States Agency division of the Bombay Presidency. It was one of the Satara Jagirs, and was founded in 1699. Its area was 1298 square kilometers and its capital was Aundh. The flag of Aundh was a rectangular orange banner. The state suffered severely from the plague of 1911.

Aundh State was founded by Parshuram Tryambak Pant Pratinidhi who was a Maratha General and administrator during the reign of Maratha rulers, Chhatrapati Sambhaji and Chhatrapati Rajaram. He played a prominent role in re-capturing forts like Panhala Fort, Ajinkyatara (at Satara), Bhupalgad from Moguls during period of 1700-1705.

The last ruler of Aundh was HH Meherban Shrimant Raja Bhavan Rao Shrinivas (Bala Sahib), Pant Pratinidhi Of Aundh. The state joined the Union of India on 8 March 1948.

Aundh's Hindu rulers used the title of "Pant Pratinidhi".
