Alicante (Valencian: Alacant) is one of the three constituencies (Spanish: circunscripciones) represented in the Corts Valencianes—the regional legislature of the Spanish autonomous community of the Land of Valencia—. Alicante is the largest town with over 230,000 registered voters. With nearly 170,000, Elche is the only other municipality with an electorate over 100,000. The next largest municipalities are Alcoy, Elda, Benidorm and Orihuela, all with between 40,000 and 50,000 registered voters.
