The Air University (Urdu: جامعہ هوا) or AU is a public research university located in Islamabad and Multan, Pakistan.
The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) established the university in 2002. Its status is granted as civilian and offers programmes in undergraduate, post-graduate, and doctoral studies. The university is under the management of PAF's education command. The university has an emphasis on engineering, business management and humanities.
The university is ranked among country's top ten universities in the Engineering and Technology category by the HEC. Air University is affiliated with Pakistan Engineering Council and Higher Education Commission Pakistan. The university is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities of the United Kingdom.
