Achyuth (1960 - 26 December 2002) (born Kunapareddy Achyutha Vara Prasad) (కూనపరెడ్డి అచ్యుత వరప్రసాద్) was a Telugu film and television actor. He acted in over 50 films, and 50 tele serials. He received five Nandi Awards in his career. He is notable for his supporting roles in the films like Thammudu, Bavagaru Bagunnara?. He also played lead roles in popular Telugu TV serials like Antharangalu, Anveshitha.
He was born in Machilipatnam, Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh to Koonapareddy Rama Rao and Koonapareddy Sujatha. He had two brothers and two younger sisters. He was married to Ramadevi and had two daughters, Sai Sujatha and Sai Sivani.
He made his debut as an actor with the film Taj Mahal but the first release was Mangalyabalam. He was quite popular with serials like Himabindu, Antarangalu, Anveshitha, etc. He acted with stars like ANR, Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Venkatesh, Balakrishna, Mammootty, and many other actors.
He produced ANR, Krishna in serials along with Pradeep, Ashok, Kadambari Kiran.
He supported then chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in campaigning for TDP.
He died of a heart attack on December 26, 2002.
