The 2018 Copa Verde to be the 5th edition of a football competition held in Brazil. Featuring 18 clubs, Acre, Distrito Federal and Mato Grosso do Sul has two vacancies; Amapá, Amazonas, Espírito Santo, Mato Grosso, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima and with one each. The others four berths will be set according to CBF ranking.
The champion will now have a spot in the Round of 16 of the 2019 Copa do Brasil.
